Keep a moment
A photo, a short video, your voice, or just a few words. One tap, and it's kept.
keep today for someday
Someday is a quiet place to keep the moments that matter, send letters to your future self, and meet the person you used to be. No account. No feed. Everything stays on your phone.
Free, with no ads. Android first; iPhone later.
Someday: Moments & Letters is a private app for keeping moments, writing letters to your future self, and meeting who you were.
How it works
Three quiet things, done well. Keep what matters now. Send something to who you'll be. And let the past find you, now and then.
A photo, a short video, your voice, or just a few words. One tap, and it's kept.
A letter to your future self, sealed until the day you choose. Even you can't open it early.
A moment from this day in an earlier year. Once a year, your year as a night sky.
Keep
Take a photo, hold for a short video, say something, or just write. A feeling and a few words can follow — never required.

Send
Write a letter — or say it in your own voice — and choose when it opens: in a year, in five, in ten, on a birthday, or "when" something happens.

And one day
"Your past self sent you something." Hold the letter to break the seal, and your own words arrive from another time. Keep it with your moments, or let it go.

Meet yourself
Now and then, a moment from this day in an earlier year appears on Home. And once a year, your whole year as a night sky — a star for each day you kept something, lighting up from January to December.

Calm, not addictive
No streaks. No likes. No feed. Someday never counts your days or asks you to come back.
Private by design
There's no Someday account and no Someday server. What you keep lives on your phone, and we never see it. Read the privacy policy — it's short.
Nothing to sign up for. Open it, and keep your first moment.
Moments and letters stay in Someday's private space on your phone, protected by its own encryption.
No ads, no analytics, no trackers — in the app, or on this website.
One file of everything, sealed letters too, encrypted with a 24-word recovery key only you hold.
Every photo, video, voice and word in a folder you can open anywhere, no app needed.
Ask for your face, fingerprint or phone passcode before Someday opens.
Made to feel like yours
Two looks — Dusk and Zen Garden — that can follow your phone or the time of day. Home the way you like it: a Timeline, a Wall, or a Thread.

English, 中文, Español and 日本語 — following your phone, or your choice.
Notifications only for a letter that's ready, and — if you turn it on — a moment from the past, at most once a month.
Long-press the app icon to keep a moment or send something, straight away.
The film
Write to who you'll be. Seal it for someday. Let time pass. And one day, it finds you.
Questions
Yes — free, with no ads and no subscription. If it becomes part of your life, you'll be able to support it with a small tip in the app. That's never required, and Someday will only mention it rarely.
On your phone, in Someday's private space. There's no Someday account or server, so we never see what you keep. Your moments leave the phone only when you make a backup or a copy yourself.
Make a locked backup now and then, and keep it somewhere safe — a computer, or a cloud drive. On a new phone, bring it back with your 24-word recovery key. Without a backup, a lost phone means lost moments, so we'd gently suggest making one.
No. Once sealed, a letter stays sealed until its day — even for you. That's the promise that makes opening it feel like something.
No. There are no streaks, no daily nudges and no "you haven't posted in a while". Someday only tells you when a letter is ready, and — only if you turn it on — lets a moment from an earlier year find you, at most once a month.
Yes. "Take a copy" puts every photo, video, voice and word in a folder you can open anywhere, no app needed. Letters still sealed stay sealed.
Android first — coming soon to Google Play. iPhone is planned for later.
English, Chinese (中文), Spanish (Español) and Japanese (日本語). Someday follows your phone's language, or the one you choose.
